Description:

Inspired by John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you.  Not as the world gives do I give it to you.  Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.”

This artwork is a reminder of the peace that can only come with a relationship with Christ.  Peace that surpasses all worldly pleasures.  Peace that provides armor for Christians in this world. 

When designing and creating this piece, John 14:27 was top of mind.  We chose soft colors combined with natural elements to create a calm and reverent depiction of the True Cross.  The natural tones of the white oak, peaceful pale blue hue of the amate paper on top of a white oak backing, combined with a more contemporary woven fabric with a soft blend of blue, gray, white and tan colors made for an elegant result. 

**Dimensions are subject to slight variation (only by fractions of an inch) to account for imperfections (knots, flaws) in the natural hardwood used which may need to be trimmed/cut off during the handmaking process.
